Information on your entry to Switzerland
Foreign nationals require a valid and accepted travel document to enter Switzerland. In addition, a visa is required in certain cases. For a country list with information about the prerequisite for immigration and visa provisions please visit the official site of the Swiss Federal Office for Migration.
In order for a visa to be issued, both purposes and circumstances of stay must be indisputably certain. By providing relevant documents you may contribute to a speedy handling of your visa application. Your invitation letter as well as you email confirming your registration can be used for this purpose.

Hotel reservation/information
To facilitate participants' travel arrangements, a hotel room contingent has been reserved at a special group rate in Geneva hotels of different categories for the nights of 4 and 5 July. In some of these hotels, rooms have also been reserved for the two nights before and after the event (subject to availability at time of booking).
To reserve your accommodation, our online hotel booking system is ready for you to use once you have completed the online registration process. Use your unique PIN number to log into the system. You will receive confirmation of your booking within two weeks.

Additional information for moderately priced hotels
The Mandat international Welcome Centre for Non-Governmental Organisations and Delegations is not a hotel but a place to welcome and meet non-governmental delegates. The Welcome Centre:
- provides delegates with low-cost accomodation (between 20 and 30 Swiss francs per night, breakfast included)
- puts at their disposal an efficient office infrastructure: computers with free Internet access, phones, fax, photocopy machine, meeting room
- gives access to a documentation centre which includes more than 10,000 documents
- offers a support service to delegates
- serves as a place to hold meetings, seminars and exhibitions
We are located in Bellevue, 10 minutes away from the international organisations, and offer a free shuttle service between the Welcome Centre and the conference sites in the morning and in the evening.

Geneva Information
